Blatt Vanilla Brown: A Blatt and Kinkaider Collaboration

While Anthony Hitchcock, one of our owners, was traveling across the Nebraska Badlands in his airstream trailer, he stumbled upon Kinkaider Brewing Co. in Broken Bow, NE. It was here he met brewery owner Barry Fox. The two spent the evening tasting and discussing beer, and a collaboration was born.

This exclusive, American Brown Ale, highlights the malt grains, while hops take a back seat. The smooth, roasted flavor combine with a hint of vanilla sweetness making this a perfect drink for fall and winter. 

The Brown Ale is a blend of four to five grains, including chocolate malt and oats with a 5.5% ABV. 

Roasted Brown Ales pair well with many foods; this one is an ideal complement to our Sausage on a Stick. The acidity of the braised cabbage, creaminess of the potato salad and smoked meats, lend well to the balance of flavors from a roasted Brown Ale.
